yes...another semester has begun. new years this time around was one we would like to forget. all of us decided to get miserably sick...and were so for 4 days. we are doing much better now. maren no longer sounds like a chain smoker.
derek is now busy with school and work. this past weekend he was able to take a group down to red rocks, nevada to do some gambl....er, climbing. it was nice and sunny (60!) though this time of year derek would rather be in 6 feet of powder. poor derek...had to go climbing. derek's creed: "my job is cooler than your vacation."
maren is now preparing for her first triathlon. she's too good for marathons. she's hardcore! it coming up in a couple of weeks. then there's the st. george triathlon coming up in may (it's a pretty serious one, apparently) so much to do!
jonas is starting to recognize that he poops his pants. now just to get him to prevent it happening. he's also quite the ham. he knows that he's funny and is always laughing at himself.
milo has just started primary. we think he'd rather be in nursery with the toys and snacks. we'd rather be there, too.
while derek was throwing dice in vegas, maren and the boys went on a hike down in the red cliff desert reserve, just out of st george. it's a gorgeous area and maren thinks she'll be visiting there more often.
with school going on, keeping the blog weekly might prove to be difficult, but we will try.
