Not a lot of time to report a whole lot. We were going to take yesterday to do a really nice post, but decided the weather was awesomer then inside. It snowed again! yahoo! That means a longer ski season and bigger and better rivers in the spring! We built a snowman in the morning, but then the wind knocked it over. Milo was very....VERY upset! "He fell down! Mom, Dad He fell down...we have to fix him!"
Our trip to San Diego was great. The conference and workshops were a great dissappointment, but we enjoyed ourselves regardless. We rented beach cruisers and did exactly that. Derek was able to finally get to see the Pacific Ocean...and swim in it, too!...naked! (it was cold.) (sorry no pictures...he, he, he). We went to a cool resturaunt in San Diego call Hash House a Go Go. Pretty strange name, but the food was awesome! The bill was not awesome. Of course, we went on Valentine''s night, so the prices were astronomical. It was still really yummy. Thanks to Gramma Bryan and Aunt Julie for coming down to play with Milo and Jonas...and to Maga and Poppi, as well, for pinch hitting while we were gone. We really
appreciate it!

appreciate it!So an update on this summer. Derek is still being the director for Navajo Trails. His ski trip to the North Cascades in WA got cancelled though...so now he's going to Alaska instead. bummer....JUST KIDDING! YEEEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!! No really he's going to AK. He's excited. He leaves on May 3rd and will be up there until June doing a ski/mountaineering course. Then we'll all be up near Capitol Reef for the rest of the summer. It should be another great summer.
The semester is going well...just really busy. Derek is going to Flagstaff this weekend for a Wilderness First Responder recertification course. Then in a couple of weeks, he's heading to Vegas for an American Mountain Guides Association Instructor course. Then he'll be going to Yosemite for Spring Break right after for a week of climbing. Whew!
We'll try to keep you all updated.
Maren is now a pro at cooking for a veggie. She has become very inventive. Milo and Jonas are, as always, keeping her busy. Milo is now in primary. He's a ham. He pretends to be shy, but a minute later it's the "ME" show. Jonas is very patient with Milo. (i guess i should say sometimes) He still pigs out during meals, but still hasn't gained a pound.
We'll post some fotos soon. We hope to hear from any of you. Love and misses...

Wowzers, so much on your guys' plate. Good luck with all the traveling D. We really miss you guys and are so glad to see some more of you.
That's it. We are quitting out jobs and are going to be at NTR right along with you. They won't mind another kiddo running around will they?
Sounds like you guys are having a ton of fun and are sooo busy. We miss you guys a ton. So quitting the whole job thing this summer and hanging out is really tempting. Taylor is already planning on switching jobs around July and we'd be moving to Seattle or something, but we could throw in a couple of months break in there and head off to NTR. Tempting, tempting . . .
