National Lampoon's Bryan Family Reunion

A week ago or so, we got into the car and headed to Tooele to meet up with the family. It had been a while since we had all been together...mainly, because of Neal being so far away. But he'll be "home" soon...we hope. It was really nice, yet a little surreal, to have everybody together.

As every family get together should be, we could not escape some sort of drama; a sink falling apart just as dinner is ending, Maren and Jerry smashing (another) hole in the wall with the front door, "5,4,3,2,1 smile!" photos by Kristi, and of course Dylan getting appendicitis. Not to mention, three stupid, why people even breed them, yappy, shouldn't be living, dogs to just add a little more stress.

It may sound pessimistic, but that weekend was quite enjoyable. (for us...sorry, Dylan) It was really good to see everybody doing well...except Dylan.....but we hear he is recovering fast, so that is good news. Eyeruh was blessed as well that Sunday. Another cute addition to Neal and Kristi's collection of offspring. And a boy, too!

We were hoping to get some climbing in that weekend, but the weather was not cooperative. It snowed...But that is good, because that means the ski season is upon us and we are really excited to play in the white stuff!

Last weekend Derek's semester project finally came to pass! The SUU Bouldering Competition was last Saturday and it went rather well. There were about 50 participants, which exceeded Derek's expectations. It was a success! Maren is excited to have Derek back, and Derek now doesn't know quite what to do with his time. But now doesn't have to worry about tuition for Spring '08! Woohoo!

Halloween is upon us now. Milo is very adamant about being a pirate. Jonas doesn't know what's going on, but still is having fun trying on costumes. We'll try to post some fotos after the big night!

Hope you are all doing well! We love you!
