Anyway, while we were down there we were able to do a lot of fun things. We went swimming in an outdoor pool that had a big slide which Milo was brave enough to go down all by himself. (it's the one above the beach ball on the right) We saw a lot of farm animals and watered a dying rabbit. Someone had forgotten to water it so Milo and Jonas took the bottle feeder off and found a hose, filled it up, and took it back to the rabbit.
Phillip showed up and had 2 extra tickets to go down a huge zip line. So of course Milo harnessed up. Jonas was too small to go. So Derek and Milo walked to the top of a 80 ft tower and looked down at the 400 ft long zip line. Milo , with no hesitation jumped right off and exclaimed, "Superman!" That kid is fearless.
(By the way, we have given up looking for Maren's camera and we had forgotten to bring the other camera with on this excursion. Dang it!)
The weekend was really relaxing though. The kids had a fun time and it was really nice to get out.
We're going up to Tooele for thanksgiving. Derek and some friends are planning a "reunion" camping trip that weekend. Derek's looking forward to it. Maren....well, she's wondering if it's such a good idea to go camping in the middle of nowhere at 35 weeks.
Jonas is almost potty trained. He's such a great kid. He emulates Milo a lot, but certainly has his own personality. He talks a lot and speaks very well for a 2 year old. We're so blessed and have so much to be thankful for.
It's midterm. Only 6 weeks until Derek is finished with school. And only 10 weeks until the new larva arrives. Maren is feeling ok. She's been sick with a cold for the last week. Derek has a really, really good lead on a job for January. He's applying this week. Cross your fingers! (and it's not in Michigan, mom)
Hope everyone is doing well!
(Tonight we went to Quail Lake for a quick Sunday drive. Throwing rocks into a lake is quite therapeutic.)

Awesome! I am glad you will be in Tooele at Thanksgiving time. I will be too!
Sounds like a great weekend. I wish we could have come! :)
It's not in Michigan, mom (it's in Vermont).
You're moving to Idaho right! I hear Nampa's a great place to live!
